Sen. Kennedy: Washington Cartel Doesn't Believe in 2nd Amendment

Senator John Kennedy talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about his recent controversial comments on Fox Business regarding Democrats and gun control.

Kennedy explained his remarks to host Stuart Varney, saying, "a lot of my colleagues in Washington DC say that England is such a wonderful place because they don't have guns. And if they think it's such a swell place, well, carry your happy ass." Kennedy added, "I happen to believe in a Second Amendment and so do most Americans."

The junior Senator also says that a repeal of the amendment is "what's behind much of this talk about gun control. Some of my colleagues, some of the members of the Washington cartel, just don't believe in the Second Amendment. Their copy of the Bill of Rights goes from one to three."
