Concerns about flooding on the Red River in Shreveport are fading. At the beginning of February many residents were worried about rising water on area lakes because of intense rains. After that storm system moved through, water on the Red River began to rise.
But the levels on the river at Shreveport have fallen to 22.17ft. The river is down by .29 ft from the day before. It is forecast to drop to 21.80ft by February 23.
