Missy Setters, Executive of the Walk-On's Independence Bowl, talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the latest bowl news, events leading up to the big game and what to expect from the Duke and Temple squads.

Setters tells KEEL listeners that the Walk-On's sponsored bowl - in fact, all of this year's games - are important. "If you talk to the players, if you're around them during the game, I think you understand how important bowl game are, no matter what game it is, no matter what level it is." The longtime I-Bowl boss says that over the past few years many in the media have tried to "make them all insignificant and that's just a shame when you have games that have been around for fifty, sixty, seventy years." Setters then reiterates the importance of the games to not only the teams and the schools, but especially the hosting communities.
