Dale Brown, the most successful basketball coach in LSU history, will be featured speaker Thursday night at the Heart of Hope banquet at Shreveport's Convention Center. Coach brown talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert and Erin about the event, his passion for their cause and the current state of college basketball, including his thoughts on the "one and done" trend of requiring players to attend college for one year before heading to the pros.

Heart of Hope is a sanctuary for women, located just outside Shreveport in Keithville. It is describes as “a home away from home for young ladies between 11 – 23 years of age who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. The mission is to provide a safe haven where residents can center all their efforts on the decisions that are before them; being a single-parent or choosing adoption.”
