[UPDATE] Local Man Charged with Sex Crimes Against Juveniles

(UPDATE, May 9) Robert Lee Ward turned himself in at the Bossier City Police Department. He was booked into the Bossier City Jail, then transferred to the Bossier Parish Maximum Security Facility.

(ORIGINAL STORY)  Bossier City police and Bossier Crime Stoppers need the public's help locating a man wanted on criminal charges.

Detectives with the BCPD Juvenile Unit say 47-year-old Robert Lee Ward is accused of committing sex crimes against multiple juveniles under age 10 over a 10-year period, beginning in 2003.

The investigation began last week after one of the victims reported to authorities that Ward had sexually assaulted her several years ago.

Ward is a white male, 5'11" and 155 pounds with brown eyes and hair. He also wears eyeglasses. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Bossier Crime Stoppers at 318-424-4100, or submit a tip online.
