Shreveport Woman Arrested for Sending Private and Explicit Images

A major assault on a man's privacy lead to an arrest in Shreveport.

On Monday (2/24/25) Patrol Officers with SPD were told of what legally amounts to Sexual Assault. Police were told by the victim that he wanted to press charges on a woman for sharing private and explicit pictures and videos without his permission.

A short investigation lead SPD to the suspect, 22 year-old Jamiya Lee. The victim told police that Lee used his phone to send private pictures to her and other people's phones.

This crime is considered a very serious one, no matter the victim and police across the country have been cracking down and stacking charges against the people who break it.

Lee was interviewed by Sex Crimes Detectives, and arrested for Nonconsensual Disclosure of a Private Image. Lee could be facing up to 2 years in prison if convicted of the crime.
