Shreveport Police Searching for Second-Degree Rape Suspect

An alert form the Shreveport Police Department's Sex Crimes Unit.

Shreveport Police are on the hunt for a suspect that they believe committed Second-Degree Rape back in November of 2024. Police are asking the public for any information leading to the arrest of 39-year-old Lajonathan L. Hall for horrible sex crimes.

From SPD:

"An arrest warrant has been issued for Hall on one count of Second-Degree Rape under Louisiana law. Second-degree rape is defined as sexual intercourse that occurs without the lawful consent of the victim under certain circumstances, including but not limited to:

· When the victim is unable to resist due to force or threats of violence.

· When the victim is incapable of resisting or understanding the act due to the influence of drugs or other substances administered without their knowledge.
