Jordan Davis left Shreveport and got to work; his debut album, Home State, earned him three consecutive number one hits: "Slow Dance in a Parking Lot," "Take It From Me," and "Singles You Up". It wasn't long after that he teamed up with Luke Bryan for "Buy Dirt," and he took over the national spotlight.

Before attending a concert at the Louisiana Grandstand in Shreveport, I had no idea that this historic 1925 building had once been and still is a hub for live music. Steeped in rich musical history, the venue is a testament to Shreveport’s vibrant cultural past. Today, the dedicated team at Louisiana Grandstand is committed to preserving that legacy while continuing to create unforgettable live music experiences for generations to come. I have seen some epic artists perform in this wonderful venue, Sarah Evans, The Steelwoods, Zach Top, Kix Brooks, and a local favorite Mus Gillum. This venue has provided some of the most epic live music experiences for me, and Jordan Davis has just added to the legendary lineup.
