
Shreveport Police Lead Multi-Agency Major Guns & Drugs Bust
Members of the Shreveport Police Department, Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office, Shreveport City Marshal’s Office, Louisiana State Police, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, United States Marshals Service, and the Shreveport Police Special Response Team executed three simultaneous search warrants yesterday at the Illinois Street Apartments and two residences adjacent to the apartment complex.
The operation was led by the Shreveport Police Department’s Street Level Interdiction Unit (SLIU) as a follow-up to ongoing gun and narcotics complaints in the area. Due to the coordinated efforts of all participating agencies, the operation was highly effective.
The Multi-Agency Operation led to:
- 11 individuals were arrested
- Numerous firearms were seized
- Multiple Pounds of narcotics were removed from the streets
The following individuals were arrested:
· Richard Smith – Two counts of Distribution of Narcotics; one count of Illegal Carrying of a Weapon
· Zachary Glass – Resisting an Officer; Illegal Carrying of a Weapon; Distribution of Narcotics; Felon in Possession of a Firearm
· Kameron Spearman – Resisting an Officer; Possession of Marijuana
· Bobby McNeil – Distribution of Narcotics; Illegal Carrying of a Weapon; Fugitive from the United States Marshals Service; Fugitive from the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office

· Malik Williams – Fugitive from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office
· Deandre Sims – Fugitive from the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office
· Thomas Jett – Fugitive from the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office
· Jacoby Foster – Distribution of Narcotics; Outstanding Warrant for Domestic Abuse Battery
· Eddreka Smith – Distribution of Narcotics
· Shontiel Washington – Outstanding Shreveport City Marshal traffic warrant
Shreveport Police released a statement from Chief Wayne Smith:
“This operation sends a clear message,” said Chief Wayne Smith. “When our community speaks up about violence, guns, and narcotics, we listen—and we act. Through strong partnerships with our local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, we are aggressively targeting those who threaten the safety of our neighborhoods. If you choose to bring violence and illegal drugs into Shreveport, understand this: we will find you, and we will hold you accountable.”
