Mansfield Man Maylon Foshee Charged in Federal FBI Investigation
Leave it to TikTok to bring a horrifying local story to my attention. A video popped up on my feed where a woman claimed a man from Mansfield, Louisiana, was accused of sexually abusing minors while on mission trips to Haiti. Naturally, I had to do a quick search to check the facts, and unfortunately, it is completely legit.

According to federal court records, 23-year-old Maylon Jesse Foshee of Mansfield was arrested by the FBI and charged with illicit sexual conduct with minors in a foreign country. Foshee made his initial appearance in federal court right here in Shreveport, where a judge ordered him held pending arraignment.
The details outlining the allegations are disturbing. The FBI launched an investigation back in March after receiving complaints regarding Foshee's conduct while working in Gonaïves, Haiti, between 2023 and 2025. Foshee was affiliated with Agape Ministries, where his role involved helping local children attend school and offering some of them a place to stay in his home.
Court documents reveal that after Foshee returned to the U.S. in early 2026 to raise funds for the ministry, individuals involved in similar overseas programs began receiving reports from multiple children.
Federal agents interviewed potential victims and witnesses across Haiti and the Dominican Republic, ultimately identifying at least three minor male victims, all around 14 years old at the time of the alleged abuse. One victim reported that Foshee abused him while he was staying at Foshee's residence.
It is sick and heartbreaking that someone could use the guise of mission work and community support to exploit vulnerable children overseas. Stories like this are a grim reminder of why we can never look the other way. If you ever suspect abuse, notice warning signs, or see something that doesn't feel right, whether it's happening locally or abroad, always speak up and say something.
Reporting suspicions can save lives and stop a predator in their tracks.
