I-Bowl Boss Gives the Latest Info [VIDEO]
Independence Bowl Executive Director Missy Setters talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the latest regarding Shreveport's annual college football contest.
Setters tells KEEL listeners that, despite the bowl lacking a title sponsor, this year's game is on, and planning "is going on and we're excited about the event." Setters also points out that the bowl has a number of other revenue sources. And the search for that elusive sponsor? "We would like somebody who has regional ties, but would also benefit greatly from a national buy, because that's what the title sponsorship of a bowl game is."
