Gun Talk Host Tom Gresham talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the Wednesday school shooting in Parkland, Florida.

Gresham, whose show can be heard on KEEL Sundays from 1 til 4, says he is tired of politicians "saying there is nothing we can do, " and is vocal in his opinion that it is beyond time for students to be protected by armed teachers or guards. Gresham cites the example of the Parkland football coach who gave his life protecting his students from gunfire, adding "that he had to throw his body in front of the bullets.because time and again the Florida legislature voted down the idea of giving teachers - this man - firearms."

Gresham says, "We can always do better on background checks," and that the NRA has been working to help make the beaureacracy more efficient so "People get reported."
