EMT Scholarship

Shreveport Fire Department paramedic and training officer Tracy Johnson is one of two paramedics chosen by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians to receive a scholarship. The College Network Degree Completion Scholarship is available to NAEMT members who want to further their education and their careers. Johnson says his goal is to help improve emergency medical services from the administrative side on a local and state level. The other scholarship recipient in this go-round is a paramedic in Oklahoma.
