Shreveport Fire Department Battle Evening House Fire

Yesterday evening Shreveport Fire Department was called to Brookbriar Drive to someone saying that their neighbor's house was on fire.

Responders showed up and saw smoke and fire coming from the front of the home. A person was in the house when it caught on fire but they thankfully noticed the smoke, and was able to get out. The person ran to their neighbors house to get them to call 911 and report the fire. 21 Firefighters were able to put the fire out in 10 minutes.

SFD was able to find out that the fire was because of a fault in the electric system. No injuries were reported.
