Congressman Johnson Facebook Page Hacked – Do Not Open Link If Messaged
The Facebook page of Congressman Mike Johnson was hacked Monday morning by unknown intruders. The Congressman tells KEEL news that, until the problem is solved, do not open any attachment that you receive with his name via Facebook or FB Messenger.
In many instances, the message contains a "surprise face" emoji, along with a photo of the one receiving the message. Clicking on the message links to an "adult" site, but first requires a log-in to a fake Facebook site. Under no circumstance, says Johnson, should the recipient of this message click on the link or give up your FB user name or password by attempting the log-in.
The Congressman says his IT staff is working to the fix the hack and will have the page back to normal as soon as possible.
