There is some controversy surrounding the shuttered GM plant in Shreveport.  There are claims that some big players have been interested in occupying the plant, yet the "powers that be" have turned them down. Former Shreveport Mayor Cedric Glover has insisted that it's because they are still "chasing the unicorn" that is Ilio motors, which could be costing the local area thousands of jobs and millions of dollars in economic impact.

Caddo Parish Commissioner John Escude stopped by the KEEL studios to rebut some of the statements made by the former mayor.
