Caddo Commissioner Addresses Animal Control Controversy

Caddo Commissioner Mario Chavez talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about his investigation into accusations of neglect, abuse and unnecessary euthanasia at the Parish's Animal Control Shelter.

Chavez says that although the shelter needs to improve in a number of areas, the truth is that the accusations is being exaggerated on social media. The Commissioner also points out that he tours the facility regularly and is working to implement a plan to raise the quality of animal care at the facility.
