Caddo Correctional Center Booking Photos January 17th-23rd

This week 76 people were booked and kept at Caddo Correctional Center for various crimes.

One of those pictured, was booked following a car-chase with SPD.

The Shreveport Police Department has arrested a Mansfield man following a car chase that began in Shreveport.

SPD Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop after seeing Jonathan Hogan driving a car with an improperly displayed license plate, along with additional traffic violations. Hogan refused to stop, leading officers on a car chase through the city.

The chase ended when Hogan exited the car and ran off. He was arrested within moments with the assistance of the Shreveport Police K-9 Unit.

Further investigation showed Hogan had warrants through the DeSoto Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Hogan now faces several charges including Aggravated Flight from an Officer, Resisting an Officer, and multiple traffic violations, in addition to his warrants out of DeSoto Parish.

Another was arrested after a child was found to be in critical condition.

The Shreveport Police Department is investigating a disturbing case of child abuse involving a 5 year-old boy who is now fighting for his life.

Earlier this week, Shreveport Police were called after the 5 year-old was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. The child's injuries were extreme and suspicious so, Juvenile Investigators were called to start an investigation.

Investigators found that the child lives in an apartment complex on North Market Street and, at some point while under the care of adults, sustained severe injuries.

Medical staff documented horrific injuries:

· Bruising covering approximately 60% of the child’s body

· A broken wrist

· A broken nose

· Trauma to the genital area

· Severe malnourishment

· Multiple knots on the head, Scarring on the chest and back, Lacerations to both the upper and lower lips

· Feces and urine present on the child’s body and feet

Following an investigation and interview, Shadiamond Prude was arrested and charged with the following:

· Two counts of Improper Supervision

· One count of Neglect of Family

This investigation is ongoing, and detectives are actively looking at additional leads. More arrests are expected.
