Two Wanted by Shreveport Police for Bank and Identity Fraud

The Shreveport Police are seeking two suspects in a bank fraud and identity theft investigation involving a loss of $7,179.43 to Community Bank.

As a result of the investigation, Jonathan Ogburn and Christina W. Cox are now wanted on charges related to bank fraud.

Community Bank reported that Jonathan Ogburn opened an account on December 5, 2025. Between December 21 and December 26, 2025, footage showed a woman depositing 11 checks into Ogburn’s account that turned out to be fraudulent. The checks were made out to Jonathan Ogburn and styled in the names of two other people.

Following the deposits, ATM withdrawals and purchases were made from Ogburn's account, resulting in the financial loss to the bank.

Detectives identified Christina W. Cox as the individual captured on camera depositing the fraudulent checks.

Investigators also confirmed that Christina W. Cox is on probation for bank fraud and has a documented history of issuing worthless checks and identity theft.

Warrants have now been issued for Jonathan Ogburn and Christina W. Cox, and both remain wanted at this time.
