Bossier City Duplex Damaged by Sunday Morning Fire

The second residential fire in as many days has heavily damaged one side of a duplex in the 2500 block of Broadway Drive.  

Bossier City firefighters got the call just after 8:45 this morning and found heavy smoke and flames coming from a rear bedroom.  They were able to bring the fire under control in about 15 minutes and kept it from spreading to the other side of the duplex.  The man who lives in the side of the duplex that burned was not home at the time but returned while firefighters were working to extinguish it.  The cause of that fire remains under investigation.
