Early Morning Shreveport House Fire Causes Heavy Damage
Shreveport Fire Department fire crews were dispatched at 1:02 AM Tuesday (12/19/23) morning to the 700 block of Tecumseh Trail to a report of a single-story wood framed residence fire.
The first arriving SFD fire unit on scene reported heavy smoke coming from the eaves of the structure. This residence received heavy damage from a bedroom of the residence.
It took the efforts of 18 firefighters—6 fire units, to quickly bring this blaze under control. All occupants escaped unharmed.
The Red Cross was contacted for the occupants and their needs. The fire cause is still under investigation.
