Director John Daniel and actor Sherry Kerr talk with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright about the latest production at the Shreveport Little Theatre, "Becky's New Car."

The comedy, written by Steven Dietz, is described in a review at dctheatrescene.com:

"'Becky’s New Car' is a play about a nice person who does a terrible thing for no good reason, and the great trick of it is that it compels us to like that person notwithstanding her bad act. Becky Foster, a title examiner for a local car dealer, is a sweet, hardworking lady with reassuringly middle-class values. Her husband Joe is an honest man, supportive and good-hearted.

Becky’s co-worker Steve is a bit of an ass, but his wife just died. And Walter Flood, the millionaire with whom Becky commits adultery, is just a prince of a fellow, his pursuit of a married woman mitigated by his persistent, unreasoning belief that her husband is dead."

"Becky's New Car" plays at the Shreveport Little Theatre, 812 Margaret Place, Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 and Sunday afternoon at 2. Tickets are available at the SLT box office, or in advance online at shreveportlittletheatre.com.
