2 Boy Scouts Killed, Another Critical After Tragedy in East Texas
Two Boy Scouts have died after a tragedy on Lake O' the Pines. Officials believe a sailboat hit a power line Saturday afternoon causing the accident.
The victims were with the Hallsville Boy Scouts.
It happened while they were sailing on Alley Creek in Marion County, Texas.
The third victim was airlifted to LSU Health in Shreveport.
We pray for that family as requested by his Mom on social media:
Daniel Anderson, with the Boy Scouts based in Tyler, told the Marshall News Messenger the Scouts were with a "Longview-Hallsville" troop, but would not give other details. He added: "The entire East Texas Scouting family stands in support of these families". The entire troop will have grief counseling available to them. "We want to make sure all Scouts know they've got our support," he said.
