Before radio, I served four years in the US Air Force from 1970-1974. I became Afternoon News Anchor at KEEZ-FM in San Antonio, Texas in 1974, then filled the chair of Assistant news Director from 1974-75 at KXXO-AM and KMOD-FM in Tulsa, Oklahoma. From 1975 through 1977, I was news Director at KWBB-AM in Wichita, Kansas. I came to KWKH in Shreveport in June of 1977. I was News Director of KWKH for twenty-four years before transferring over to KEEL-AM as News Director in April, 2001. When I'm not covering or reporting news, I'm usually busy working on and autocrossing my 1965 Austin Mini with the SCCA (Sports Car Club of America). I'm also Senior Vice President of the Shreveport Journalism Foundation and a founding member of the Greater Shreveport Walk of Stars Committee.
