Truck Runs Into Downtown Shreveport Building
Shreveport police are trying to figure out exactly what happened when an older model pickup truck smashed into the front of a downtown business.
It happened around 9 o'clock this morning in the 300 block of Market at the intersection of Market and Fannin. The truck plowed into the northwest corner of Classic, Inc. -- formerly known as Classic Reprographics. Bricks and shattered glass were scattered everywhere around the site following the impact and the rear bumper of the truck was lodged precariously against a SWEPCO power pole guy wire. The driver of the pickup was transported to the hospital with undetermined injuries. Southbound traffic on Market was diverted to the far right-hand lane while officers conducted their investigation and then worked to clear the scene.
