[UPDATE]  Richard Mosley was arrested around 10:30 this morning after a tip to Crime Stoppers led detectives to the area around Linwood and Argyle.  After a brief search of the neighborhood, detectives found Mosley on foot in the area and took him into custody.  He was booked into the Shreveport City Jail on the outstanding warrant charging him with attempted murder.

(original) Shreveport detectives have obtained a warrant for the arrest of 37-year-old Richard Mosley.

He's suspected of forcing his way into his estranged wife's apartment in the 1100 block of West 70th this past Saturday and stabbing her several times.  Nekedra Mosley is in critical condition at University Health where she's being treated for multiple stab wounds.

Police say Mosely and his wife have been estranged since April of 2011 and he has a history of stalking and threatening her.  The warrant for his arrest charges him with one count of attempted first-degree murder and sets his bond at $200,000.

Anyone having information about Mosley's whereabouts is asked to call Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers at 673-7373 or online at www.lockemup.org.  Crime Stoppers is offering a $700 reward for information that leads to his arrest.
