Shreveport Teen Suspected in Stabbing Her Own Father

A Shreveport man was rushed to the hospital yesterday (11/11/24) with multiple stab-wounds to his chest.

Shreveport Police investigated the incident and determined that the suspect in the stabbing was the man's 14 year-old daughter.

The stabbing is suspected to have happened following a verbal argument. The two were supposedly having a screaming match when the teen is suspected to have stabbed her father many times.

Police are still currently investigating this stabbing, and more information will become available as the investigation rolls on.

UPDATE: The wounds sustained by the man in the stabbing have been listed as non-life-threatening. The 14 year old female has been arrested for attempted murder.
