Possible Tornado Touchdown in DeSoto Parish in NW Louisiana
SHREVEPORT, LA - A violent night of storms moved across northwest Louisiana on Thursday. The DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office reports there has been a touchdown of one or possibly multiple tornadoes across the parish.

Dozens of roads were blocked during the height of the storm on Thursday night.
DeSoto Sheriff Jayson Richardson says:
We have experienced some damage in the Grand Cane area and into Frierson. We also have damage in the Stanley area. At least one home in that location suffered heavy damage.
The Sheriff says there have not been any reports of anyone injured.
What Other Reports Have Come in?
Sheriff Richardson says there have been several accidents related to water or trees down on roadways. He says most roadways are now cleared, but there are a few that might have downed power lines and power crews have worked through the night to get those cleared.
Richardson is also urging motorists to be extra careful if you are on the roads today. You could still run into some downed trees in some of the more rural areas. He tells residents to "be careful and be mindful of what could be another possible round of storms."
Sheriff Richardson also thanked all the crews who worked through the night dealing with what was a really bad situation.
There have been multiple reports of a possible tornado touchdown near the Relay Station on I-49. But no reports of any injuries in that area.
