TNT Express is “Takin’ It To The Streets” This Week

Most people in town know by now that the TNT Express runs every third Thursday night of the month -- and that would be this Thursday. But this week, artspace is "Takin' It to the Street," with a free sidewalk art and unique vendor fair, downtown art gallery walk and music by the Prevailing Winds Orchestral Band.

Shreveport Regional Arts Council Marketing Director Julia Foley says the market features everything from glassworks to paintings, candles to funky clothes, which can be both seen and purchased. Participants will also get to browse downtown art galleries -- Norsworthy, Southern University Museum of Art in Shreveport, artspace and the Barnwell Art and Garden Center. The tour begins at artspace and runs from 5:30 to 8 Thursday evening.
