Tarver Levees New Charges Against University Health Hospital [VIDEO]

State Senator Greg Tarver has charged University Health Hospital with Medicaid fraud. He says that while the government is paying the hospital, the hospital has not been paying LSU Health, which he says is a violation of the agreement between the University Health and the medical school.

Talking with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert and Erin, the Shreveport lawmaker also accuses the hospital with "poor quality of care."

In response, University Health said that Tarver's allegations were "innacurate", and that the hospital is "currently up to date with payment s to LSU Health School of Medicine." They also said that his claims of fraud and paient care are "baseless and inacurate."
