Tarver Files Suit Against Barbara Norton

Quite a legal skirmish is underway in the Senate District 39 race. Incumbent Greg Tarver is challenging State Representative Barbara Norton's candidacy claiming she does not live in the senate district.

In fact, Tarver claims the address Norton lists on McAlpine is the home of a relative. Tarver also says a sex offender lives in that home. He says Norton actually lives on Spy Glass. The owner of that home is expected to testify that he has had a long-term lease with Barbara Norton. The water bill on Spy Glass is also in Norton's name.

KEEL News caught up with Senator Tarver who tells us the case is set for a court hearing at 9:30 on Friday morning in Caddo District Court.

KEEL News has reached out several times to State Representative Norton, but she has not returned our calls for a comment on this residency issue.
