Some tense moments this morning in several areas of town. A wreck at West 70th at the Terry Bradshaw Passway East had traffic tied up for a while. No word on injuries from that wreck. In Bossier, we got reports that a train was stopped on the tracks on Airline Drive at I-20, which caused major back-ups on I-20 and Highway 80, as well as at the tracks at Old Minden Road, just past Holiday Lanes.
Just over a month until the 2011 Night Out Against Crime in Shreveport and Bossier City. It's being held October 4th and mirrors National Night Out, traditionally held in the two cities on the first Tuesday in August. But because of the extreme heat in our area during this time of year, the event was moved to the first Tuesday in October...
