It's a local "Dancing with the Stars" fan's dream come true. Julianne and Derek Hough are bringing their summer Move Live On Tour to our area.

I've been a fan of the show since season two, and I absolutely fell in love with both siblings. Their coreography and teaching styles are unmatched. And they're both former champs...multiple times!

This new tour is described as "a cross between a Broadway spectacular and the hippest, coolest dance party you've ever been to." The Houghs will be performing solo, and in duets and groups in styles ranging from ballroom and tap to salsa and hip-hop. The DWTS champions came up with the idea, and they're partnering with Emmy Award-winning coreographers Tabitha and Napoleon D'umo, best known for their work on "So You Think You Can Dance."

According to Derek and Julianne, "No matter where we go in the world, the question we hear most from people is 'when are you going to do something together?' We feel that everything we've done up to this point has led us to creating this show and we can't wait to share it with our fans."

The Houghs and their tour troupe will also be "engaging local dance groups and non-profit organizations to include them in the whole MOVE experience to encourage and celebrate dance."

The tour stops in Bossier City on June 7, at the Horseshoe Casion Riverdome. And I couldn't be more excited! Will I get to meet the super siblings? We'll have to wait and see. I do know 710 KEEL will be talking to Derek in the near future, so tune in for all the info!
