State Representative Thomas Pressly of Shreveport talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the extension of the "stay-at-home" order by Governor John Bel Edwards, the effects of the Coronavirus on the Louisiana economy and what the state can do to recover.

Pressly clarifies the Governor's order, which, among other declarations, calls for curb service only for restaurants all over the state. This came of the heels of a Declaration of Emergency for the city earlier in the day by Shreveport Mayor Adrian Perkins.

Pressly also tells KEEL listeners about the economic impact, not only to state coffers, but also businesses across Louisiana and gives a number of aid options for assistance being offered for both struggling owners and employees.
