State Representative Danny McCormick talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about a letter he recently wrote to his fellow legislators, in which he makes the case that it's time for Louisiana "responsibly return to work."

In his correspondence, the Vivian legislator says,

"It seems the true goal of the Federal guidelines to mediate the spread of COVID 19 has changed. Originally, our goal was to "flatten the curve" and protect our most vulnerable citizens, while our healthy citizens continue to work and be responsible with voluntary social distancing. Now we seem to paralyzed with fear. Our goal has rapidly transformed into the idea into the idea that no one should be exposed or to be expected to contract COVID 19."
