A Natchitoches woman is facing charges in connection with the homicide of a 6-month-old baby boy.

25-year-old old Felicia Marie-Nicole Smith was booked into the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center on one count of 1st degree murder for the death of Levi Cole Ellerbe, who was located set on fire off of Breda Avenue on the evening of Tuesday, July 17.
State Fire Marshall Butch Brown could not comment much about this investigation but he did have some information to add to what we already know.
The investigation is on-going.
The baby boy was found next to railroad tracks shortly after he was taken from a home in the Mayberry Trailer Park, which is about 3 miles away. Firefighters found Levi with obvious burns to his body. He was taken to Natchitoches Medical Center then airlifted to University Health Hospital in Shreveport, where he died from his injuries.
