State Fire Marshal Retires

State Fire Marshal Butch Browning has retired to accept a job in the private sector.  State Police Commander Mike Edmonson says Browing deserves credit for making some sweeping changes to the Fire Marshal's Office through reorganization and cross-trainiing of personnel.  Long-time Fire Marshal's Office Administrator Felicia Cooper has been named interim Fire Marshal.  Colonel Edmonson says he will be diligent in his search for a permanent replacement.  And he says no time table has been established for naming a new Fire Marshal.
