
SHREVEPORT POLICE SEEKING PUBLIC’S HELP LOCATING FOUR WANTED SUSPECTS
The Shreveport Police Department and regional law enforcement units are asking for the public’s assistance in locating four individuals wanted in connection with separate investigations ranging from contractor fraud and domestic violence to organized theft and burglary.
Authorities encourage anyone with information regarding these suspects to contact local law enforcement or submit anonymous tips through Shreveport-Caddo Crime Stoppers.
Unlicensed Contractor Wanted in $5,750 Renovation Scam
The Shreveport-Caddo Financial Crimes Task Force is searching for Lamondre Alex, who is wanted on one count of felony theft.

Doing business as Hi-End Finishers, Alex allegedly entered into a written agreement for home renovations, collecting $5,000 for labor and $750 for discounted materials. Investigators report that Alex delivered only ~$420 worth of materials, never began the work, and failed to show up after promising a July 20 start date. Detectives gathered contracts, Cash App records, text messages, and store receipts before confirming Alex is not a licensed contractor in Louisiana. An arrest warrant for felony theft has been issued.
Domestic Violence Suspect Facing Multiple Charges
The Shreveport Police Department’s Domestic Violence Unit is requesting help locating Devante Abbington, 30, following an incident on June 9, 2026, in the 4300 block of North Market Street.

Officers responding to a reported physical assault verified the victim’s account through surveillance video, witness statements, and documented injuries. Three young children were present during the assault, and investigators noted Abbington has a prior domestic abuse conviction involving the same victim. Abbington is currently wanted on:
- One count of Domestic Abuse Battery (Second Offense)
- Three counts of Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment
Third Suspect Identified in Kroger Organized Retail Theft
Following tips submitted to Crime Stoppers, Shreveport Police detectives have identified a third suspect in an organized retail theft case at the Kroger located at 9484 Ellerbe Road.

The suspect has been identified as Toriano Polk, 41. On July 20, 2026, detectives secured an arrest warrant charging Polk with organized retail theft. Authorities are calling on the community to help locate Polk as part of ongoing efforts to hold individuals accountable for theft from local businesses.
Fingerprint Evidence Identifies Residential Burglary Suspect
Property Crimes detectives are searching for Brandon Stevens in connection with a residential burglary on Topeka Street.

On July 3, 2026, a homeowner in the 200 block of Topeka Street returned home to find Stevens actively stealing property inside the residence. Stevens fled before officers arrived, but crime scene investigators successfully recovered fingerprints that positively identified him. An arrest warrant has been signed charging Stevens with one count of Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling.
