Speed Limit Sign Goes Green

I have griped about Knight Street for more than a year. An overlay, plus lighting and sidewalks on this roadway were promised in the 2011 bond issue, but not much work has been done at all.

I believe they have started moving some utility lines and we should see work begin full steam ahead within the next few months.

But that's not the only problem on Knight Street. I noticed this speed limit sign the other day. Look closely at this picture. That is an actual speed limit sign completely obscured by weeds and growth from the woods.

I did bring this sign to the attention of my city council member, John Nickelson and he has forwarded the picture to city officials to take care of the problem. I wonder how long it will take to get this corrected?
