Shreveport Police Chief Ben Raymond talks with 101.7 / 710 KEEL's Robert J Wright and Erin McCarty about the recent shooting death of one-month old Queen Dean.

Chief Raymond tells KEEL listeners that the investigation is ongoing, that the SPD knows that there are people who have information regarding the case and how important it is for citizens to assist police investigating this and other crimes.

"A Shreveport infant killed by gunfire early Saturday has been named by the Caddo Parish Coroner's office.

1-month-old Queen Dean was killed by a round that struck her in the head just before 4:20am in the 3000 block of Sunnybrook Street, in the Sunset Acres neighborhood.

An autopsy has been authorized at Ochsner LSU Health hospital.

The shooting remains under investigation by the Shreveport Police Department."
