Shreveport Police Seeking Suspect in City’s Latest Homicide
The Shreveport Police Department is currently on the hunt for a murderer. Police were called to the scene Sunday (6/2/24) evening around 7pm to the 1800 block of Jewella Avenue. Upon arrival to the Wellington Square Apartments, police discovered a woman inside of an apartment suffering a stab-wound to her neck.
The woman died from her injuries. Police are currently interviewing and investigating in order to nail-down a suspect in this city's latest homicide. So far, no suspects have been named, and Police are still trying to find out who is responsible for this brutal murder.
The victim in this murder has yet to be named by the coroner, pending notification of family and/or loved ones.
Shreveport Police are urging anyone with any information pertaining to this horrible crime to come forward so that this investigation can come to an end, and those responsible can be arrested.
