Shreveport Police Searching for Fatal Hit-And-Run Suspect

On Friday, July 15, 2022, at 9:30p.m., the Shreveport Police Department responded to a report of a pedestrian that was struck by a vehicle. Arriving officers located a white male victim suffering from serious injuries in the roadway. The victim was transported to a local area hospital were he subsequently died.

Witnesses to the crash stated that the victim was crossing Linwood Avenue in front of a Sportran bus when struck by the passing vehicle. The suspect vehicle then fled the scene.

Police are releasing a photograph of the suspect vehicle and asking for the assistance of the community in identifying the accused.
