Shreveport Police Need Your Help to Solve Murder

SHREVEPORT, LA-   Shreveport Police are seeking information to solve a homicide from Monday morning.

Just after 7:00 a.m. on July 31st, 2023, Shreveport Police Officers were called to respond to a shooting in the 1200 block of Vaughn Street. Arriving officers located a male victim deceased from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. Detectives believe that the decedent was shot and left at the scene possibly hours before officers arrived.

Investigators with the Shreveport Police Violent Crimes and Crime Scene Units responded to the scene to collect evidence. Further investigation is currently ongoing. Shreveport Police Detectives are asking for assistance from our community to help solve this Homicide Investigation.
