Shreveport Police Need Help Catching Shooting Suspect
Shreveport Police are asking for the assistance of the community in locating a man wanted in connection to a shooting that occurred in December 2021. A warrant for Latrell Anderson (06/30/2001) was issued last year however Anderson has not been arrested. He is believed to still be in the Shreveport Area.
On December 7th, 2021, at 2:30 p.m., Shreveport Police Department Patrol officers responded to the 2300 block of Marion Street on reports of a male suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. The man was treated at a local hospital for life threatening injuries and did survive.
Detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit responded to the scene and through interviews with witnesses and examination of evidence, they identified the suspected shooter as Latrell Anderson. An arrest warrant was obtained for Anderson charging him with Attempted 2nd Degree Murder.
