Shreveport Police Arrest Man for Beating Up His Mother
On June 4th, 2023, at 2:22 p.m., Shreveport Police officers responded to a call of a domestic trouble call in the 2000 block of Lovers Lane. Responding officers were informed of a man attacking his mother.

Officers arrived and found that Michael Rowe (6-12-73) reportedly struck his mother multiple times in the face and then pushed her into a pole causing injury. The responding officers arrested Michael Rowe for one count of 2nd-degree battery. The victim was injured but is expected to recover.
We must remind that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
