Shreveport Man Arrested for Late November Attempted Murder
A shooting back in November 2021 left one person with two gunshot wounds. Shreveport Police have now caught up with, and arrested the suspect involved.
On November 29, 2021, just after 11:30 p.m., Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to the 900 block of Pierre Avenue to a shooting. Officers found a man suffering from at least two gunshot wounds. He was transported to Ochsner LSU Health Hospital by the Shreveport Fire Department with what was described as life-threatening injuries. He continues his recovery to this day.
Detectives were nearby the scene and immediately responded. All items of evidentiary value were collected, and detectives were able to use interviews and other evidence to identify 35 year-old Cordelro Robinson as the person they believed responsible for the murder. Detectives procured an arrest warrant charging Cordelro Robinson with one count of Attempted Second-Degree Murder. Bond was set at $500,000.00.
On January 4, 2022, Robinson was taken into custody by Caddo Parish Sheriffs Deputies. He was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center on the warrant related to this investigation and several others.
