SHREVEPORT, LA – Shreveport has dozens of historic properties. Many of these amazing structures are in the downtown district. But there are several others scattered around town.

We noticed this list also includes many buildings that were built more than 100 years ago to be used as school. Several of those are still in use today for education. Others have been closed or put back in service for other uses.

At the end of this post, you can see the list of schools on the National Register of Historic Places.
