
Centenary Quick Stop Shooting Leads to Arrest and Suspect at Large
Authorities have taken one man into custody and are actively searching for a second suspect following a mid-July shooting at a local convenience store, according to the Shreveport Police Department.
Investigation Leads to Identification of Two Suspects
Detectives with the SPD Violent Crimes Unit identified Malcolm Hall, 26, and Kaleb Hamilton, 20, as active participants in the events surrounding the July 16 shooting at the Centenary Quick Stop. Investigators gathered additional physical evidence and conducted follow-up inquiries that ultimately linked both men to the violent incident.
Primary Suspect In Custody with Additional Warrants

Police arrested Hall and booked him on charges of aggravated battery and the illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities.
During the arrest, officers discovered that Hall was also wanted on outstanding warrants from the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office and Louisiana Probation and Parole. He was subsequently transported to the Bossier City Jail, where he was booked on those additional charges.
Second Suspect Remains at Large

Warrants have been issued for the arrest of Kaleb Hamilton. He is currently wanted on charges of principal to aggravated battery and principal to illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities.
Detectives state that Hamilton remains at large, and active efforts to track down his whereabouts are ongoing.
Police Request Public Assistance
The Shreveport Police Department acknowledged the Bossier City Police Department for their assistance in apprehending Hall and their ongoing cooperation with the investigation.
