Shreveport Man Wanted in April Stabbing Incident Arrested

The Shreveport Police Department has arrested a man on one count of Second Degree Battery for a stabbing investigation that occurred earlier this year.

Back in April, Shreveport Police responded to the 1600 block of Park Avenue in reference to a reported stabbing.

When SPD got to the scene, Officers found an adult male suffering from several stab wounds. The victim was taken to Ochsner LSU Health, where he received stitches and staples for his injuries.

During the investigation, SPD Detectives learned the victim had become involved in an argument with his roommate, identified as Lonnie R. Little. According to the victim, the verbal dispute escalated into a physical fight during which Little allegedly punched him in the face. The victim further reported that each time Little struck him, he was also being stabbed with a sharp object, resulting in multiple injuries.

Based on the investigation, detectives established probable cause and obtained an arrest warrant charging. Little with Second Degree Battery.

Yesterday, SPD was able to locate Little and arrest him on the aforementioned charges.
