Schools Closing Because Of 2021’s First Blast of Winter Weather

Winter weather is expected to move into the Ark-La-Tex late this weekend, and will likely cause issues across our area for Monday morning. Because of this winter weather threat, multiple schools and universities are cancelling in-person classes for Monday.
Here are the schools who will not be having in-person classes:
Caddo Parish will have no class on Monday. Exam schedule is pushed back to Tuesday.
Bossier Parish will have no class on Monday.
DeSoto Parish will have no class on Monday
Webster Parish will have no class on Monday
Natchitoches Parish schools will be virtual instruction only on Monday
Lincoln Parish schools are closed Monday
Sabine Parish schools are virtual only on Monday
Red River Parish schools are closed on Monday
Southfield school is closed Monday
Evangel Christian Academy is closed
First Baptist Church School closed
Loyola College Prep is closed
St. John Berchmans Catholic School is closed
St. Joseph Catholic School is closed
Magnolia School of Excellence is closed
Word of God Academy is closed
LSU Shreveport is closed
Southern University Shreveport is closed Monday
Bossier Parish Community College
Northwestern State University
Grambling is closed Monday
Caddo Head Start is closed Monday
Other Government offices closed on Monday
Bossier City City Hall and City Court
Bossier Parish Courthouse is opening at 10am
Caddo Community Action Agency
Caddo Council on Aging and Meals on Wheels
Caddo Parish Offices (essential personnel must report)
Caddo District Court and District Attorney
DeSoto Parish District Court
DeSoto Parish Sheriff's administrative office
Mansfield City Court
Shreveport City Court
Sportran buses will not run
